Smart Home Innovations – Refund & Return Policy (Optimized for US Customers)
30-Day Return Policy
We have a 30-day return policy. You have 30 days from the date of delivery to request a return.
To be eligible:
The item must be unused, unworn, and in its original packaging.
You must provide proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation).
How to Start a Return
To initiate a return, contact us at smarthomeinnovations.store@gmail.com.
All returns must be approved before being sent. Items returned without prior authorization will not be accepted.
Once approved, we will provide detailed instructions for returning your item.
Return Shipping Costs
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect.
Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
⚠️ Note: For items that cost more than $60, international returns are not required unless defective. We may offer a partial refund or store credit instead if the return shipping cost exceeds the item’s value.
Damaged or Defective Items
Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery.
If your item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, contact us within 48 hours of receipt and provide photo or video evidence.
Verified defective items will be replaced or refunded at no additional cost.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned:
Items that show signs of installation, use, or tampering (unless defective)
Modified or personalized products
Final sale items
Gift cards
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you whether your refund is approved.
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.
If more than 15 business days have passed since approval, please contact smarthomeinnovations.store@gmail.com.
Chargeback Prevention
Initiating a payment dispute or chargeback before contacting us may delay resolution and can void eligibility for a direct refund.
Contact us first so we can resolve your issue quickly and fairly.
Exchanges
To exchange an item, return your original item following the above instructions.
Once approved, place a separate order for the new item.
